2013 Ford Edge - We Put More Miles Per
Gallon in our MPG's
Key Features:
- The available EcoBoost engine combines two different technologies
- turbocharging and direct injection - to deliver the performance of
a large engine with the economy and fuel efficiency of a smaller one.
Compared to a naturally aspirated engine, the EcoBoost turbocharged
direct-injection engine produces the kind of torque that you might expect
from a V6. Improved transient response enabled by the direct injector
reduces turbo lag, vovercoming the traditional disadvantage of downsizing
and boosting. More efficient fuel consumption is the result of a high
compression ratio enabled by direct injection, which provides a cooler,
denser charge. *EPA-estimated 30 hwy mpg, FWD.
- Edge Sport features a Charcoal Black interior, Liquid Silver Smoke
appliques, Charcoal Black seats with Silver Smoke Metallic leather-trimmed
seat inserts and contrast stitching.
- Rain-sensing front wipers use an advanced optical sensor to detect
the intensity of rain and/or snowfall to adjust wiper speed. They are
available on Edge SEL, Limited and Sport models in the optional Vision
Package, which also includes BLISŪ (Blind Spot Information System) with
Cross Traffic Alert.
- Choose lighting that fits your mood with the seven-color programmable
ambient lighting feature that's standard in Limited and Sport. LEDs
tastefully illuminate various areas throughout the interior such as
the front footwells, storage bins and cupholders.
- The available panoramic Vista Roof® features a large forward panel
that tilts up or opens fully, plus a fixed-rear skylight. So whether
you're sitting up front or seated in back Vista Roof lets in more of
the world above.
- SYNC27 is an easy-to-use in-car connectivity system that allows you
to stay connected to your world. Simply pair your Bluetooth-enabled
phone and your compatible MP3 player or USB drive and SYNC does the
rest. Features include: Make hands-free calls. Control your music with
